Several months ago, I listed a home that was owned by a couple from an Eastern Asian Rim Country. They had lived in the home for several years and had cooked their traditional foods which left a very strong odor. In showing the home, many prospective buyers commented on the food odor.
After the couple moved out, I tried to air the home out and used several deodorizers to cover the food scent; however, everything I tried was to no avail.

"I installed a PowerWorx unit on one half of a duplex that I built in the summer of 2009. The duplex is an Energy Star rated home. Nobody lived the in the duplex, and I set the thermostat at 75° - no other appliances were running in the duplex. I monitored the kWh consumption at the meter for three weeks.
